Prof. Dr. Purimpat Sujumnongtokul from the Department of Mechanical Engineering was invited by a world leading publisher to edit textbooks on heat and mass transfer, a major field in many industrial systems. The book, which is being published by McGraw-Hill, is authored by Prof. Y.A. Cengel and Prof. A.J. Ghajar. The textbook has been used in many university classrooms throughout the world for the past 20 years. The book has been updated to keep up with industrial technology and has been an important foundation for research in the area. In general, the book is edited every 5 years and the current update was its 4th edition in 2010. Dr. Suchamnongkul was also invited to co-author the book. |
