Students are required to publish works derived from their dissertation research or as part of the dissertation in the following formats:

1. Two articles in international journals, or
2. One article in an international journal along with one innovative work/creative work/patent, according to the regulations of the Khon Kaen University /Intellectual Property. This could be one patent and 
3. Create a poster summarizing the thesis research, following the format specified by the Faculty of Engineering.

Doctoral students who have published research work or part of a research work that has been published or accepted for publication in an international journal indexed in SCIE database, starting from the first or second quartile, with at least 2 articles or more (paying only for the second article onwards) and the article must have been accepted before notifying the end of the study. The student must be the first author and will receive a prize of 20,000 Baht.
