welcomed Prof. Takashi Yamaguchi and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Takahiro Watari from Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), Japan.

On December 1, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Pairaya Choeisai, a faculty member from the Department of Environmental Engineering, and Assoc. Prof. Kittiwet Kuntiyawichai, from the Department of Civil Engineering, welcomed Prof. Takashi Yamaguchi and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Takahiro Watari from Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), Japan. The visit was made to meet with two NUT students currently undertaking a cooperative education internship at the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University (KKU). The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn, also hosted a reception to honor the visitors during their trip to the faculty.

On December 2, 2024, Prof. Takashi Yamaguchi and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Takahiro Watari toured the laboratories of the Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering departments. They also provided guidance on cooperative education internships to Mr. Kodai Yoshikawa and Mr. Yuma Arai, fourth-year students in the Civil and Environmental Engineering program at NUT. The students have been interning at the Faculty of Engineering, KKU, from October 1, 2024, to February 24, 2025, for a total of four months.

  • Kodai Yoshikawa is interning in the Department of Civil Engineering under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Kittiwet Kuntiyawichai.
  • Yuma Arai is interning in the Department of Environmental Engineering under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Pairaya Choeisai.
