The Faculty of Engineering comes as the third by THE World University Ranking 2022 by subject: Engineering, along with other universities in the country, and the 801-1,000th<\/sup> ranks in the world, for the following fields:<\/p>\n

  1. Chemical Engineering<\/li>\n
  2. Civil Engineering<\/li>\n
  3. Electrical & Electronic Engineering<\/li>\n
  4. Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering<\/li>\n
  5. General Engineering<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Times Higher Education is the only institute in the world than ranks research universities by investigating each university\u2019s missions in teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook (Khon Kaen University, 2020). THE uses 5 competency indicators, namely, Citation<\/strong> (research impact), Industrial Income <\/strong>(from knowledge transfer), International Outlook <\/strong>(covering personnel, students, and research work), Research <\/strong>(amount, revenue and reputation), and Teaching<\/strong> (defined from the learning environment) (Times Higher Education, 2021).<\/p>\n

    When considering the different indicators, the Faculty of Engineering is outstanding in nearly all aspects, especially in Citation and Industrial Income, followed by International Outlook, Teaching, and Research.<\/p>\n
