\nAssoc. Prof. Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University reported that on April 8, 2022, the SCImago Institutions Rankings announced the institutional ranking of 2022 and the Faculty of Engineering ENKKU has been ranked the 524th<\/sup>\u00a0of the world in Engineering field, the second of Thailand. The Faculty has been ranked in the SCImago Institutions Rankings consecutively for the second time (2021 & 2022). The announcement was made on the Website of SCImago Institutions Rankings 2022: https:\/\/www.scimagoir.com<\/p>\n

The Engineering field of Khon Kaen University is the second from 20 institutions in Thailand that are ranked this year. The ranking is directed towards research and innovations in engineering, where ENKKU\u2019s vision is laid, which is aimed towards being one of five leading universities in research and development.<\/p>\n

\"\"Ever since 2021, Khon Kaen University has been ranked under the SCImago Institutions Ranking (SIR). This year, the Faculty is again ranked the second. The ranking is under the category of institutions that have research work at the international level, in the Government, Health, Universities, Companies, and Non-profit group. The Faculty has shown the capacity in publicizing all academic works, which were compiled under Scopus info base. In 2022, the following universities in Thailand are ranked by SCImago Institutions Ranking (SIR) in the field of Engineering:<\/p>\n

SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) ranks 7,533 institutions with research work of the international level. These institutions are not only universities, but are specialized institutions such as technological institutions, colleges, hospitals, and research institutions. The ranking counts the abilities of these institutions in publicizing all types of their research work from Scopus base.<\/p>\n
