Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University (ENKKU) partnered with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) to conduct a practical training program on “Carbon Capture Technology” on March 14, 2023.<\/strong> This program was part of the academic cooperation project between EGAT and ENKKU. The event was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn<\/strong>, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.<\/p>\n

The program’s guest speaker was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitirote Wantala<\/strong>, from the Department of Chemical Engineering. The speaker shared his expertise and experience in carbon capture and storage technology with more than 30 participants from Nam Pong Power Plant, East-Northern Hydroelectric Power Plant, and the East-Northern Operating Department.<\/p>\n

This program showcased ENKKU’s commitment to producing highly skilled professionals in the field of engineering, as well as its dedication to working with industry partners to address real-world challenges.<\/p>\n
