On August 7, 2023-In a significant stride towards fostering international academic collaboration, Assoc. Prof. Chiranut Sa-ngiamsak<\/strong>, Vice Dean for Research, Innovation, and International Affairs at the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University (ENKKU), along with the esteemed Assoc. Prof.<\/strong>\u00a0Khanitha Kamwilaisak<\/strong> and Assoc. Prof. <\/strong>Pornapa Kasemsiri<\/strong> from the Department of Chemical Engineering, warmly welcomed Prof. Hiroshi<\/strong> Uyama<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>from Osaka University. This collaborative visit, scheduled from August 6th to 11th, 2023, is proudly supported by the “KKU Reinventing University Project.”<\/p>\n

One remarkable highlight of this collaboration is the joint research publication authored by Prof. Uyama and Assoc. Prof. Pornapa<\/strong>. This joint effort is a testament to their shared commitment to pushing the boundaries of scientific knowledge and exploring novel avenues in their field.<\/p>\n

As part of his visit, Prof. Uyama<\/strong> aims to facilitate a closer connection between Osaka University and ENKKU, laying the groundwork for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two esteemed institutions. The signing of the MOU is projected to be the launchpad for numerous collaborative initiatives, including joint research projects, and faculty and student exchanges. Such collaborations are set to empower students and researchers on both sides with a global perspective and a broader understanding of their respective disciplines.<\/p>\n

Prof. Uyama’s<\/strong> visit will culminate with a special talk on “Bioplastics,” scheduled for August 10th at the Pienvichitr Building on ENKKU’s campus. This presentation promises to shed light on the forefront of sustainable materials, igniting conversations about eco-friendly alternatives and their potential impact on various industries.<\/p>\n

As the “KKU Reinventing University Project” continues to bridge borders and connect minds, ENKKU takes pride in the opportunity to host Prof. Uyama<\/strong> and engage in a journey of shared knowledge, innovation, and international camaraderie.<\/p>\n
