In 2024, the Faculty of Engineering at Khon Kaen University has been ranked by the SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) 2024 as the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place institution in the country and the 1<sup>st<\/sup> within the region. In 2024, the Faculty of Engineering has been ranked as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Industrial &amp; Manufacturing Engineering: Ranked 1<sup>st<\/sup> place in the country and 825<sup>th<\/sup> place globally.<\/li>\n<li>Civil and Structural Engineering: Ranked 2<sup>nd<\/sup> place in the country and 333<sup>rd<\/sup> place globally.<\/li>\n<li>Biomedical Engineering: Ranked 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place in the country and 1368<sup>th<\/sup> place globally.<\/li>\n<li>Building and Construction Engineering: Ranked 4<sup>th<\/sup> place in the country and 552<sup>nd<\/sup> place globally.<\/li>\n<li>Mechanical Engineering: Ranked 5<sup>th<\/sup> place in the country and 1691<sup>st<\/sup> place globally.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, expressed pride in the achievements of the faculty in this ranking. He attributed the success to the efforts of faculty members, researchers, students, staff, and alumni who contributed to creating valuable and innovative works beneficial to society. Furthermore, these rankings affirm the success of the Faculty of Engineering&#8217;s vision, which focuses on producing quality graduates and fostering innovation to support societal development and change.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the faculty has been actively developing and innovating to efficiently link with industry and society to foster sustainable economic growth and development for Thailand.
