Senior-year Environmental Engineering students from Khon Kaen University participated in an educational field trip to enhance their knowledge and gain hands-on experience from real-world learning environments. This initiative aimed to broaden perspectives on actual work practices in the environmental engineering profession. The two-day program included:

🔹 June 17: Comprehensive Water and Waste Management Systems
✅ WHA Eastern Industrial Estate (Map Ta Phut) Site Visit
Students were welcomed by Ms. Jiratiti Thonghho, Deputy Managing Director of WHA Utilities and Power Public Company Limited, who provided insights into wastewater treatment systems, UF & RO processes, enhancing understanding of industrial water management procedures.
✅ Rayong Integrated Waste Management Center Visit
Students learned about waste sorting processes, waste-to-energy conversion, and standardized landfill operations, witnessing real-world applications of environmentally friendly waste management technologies.

🔹 June 18: Building Holistic Environmental Vision
✅ Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate Visit
Students received briefings on the estate's environmental operations and toured the Environmental Control and Monitoring Center, which serves as the hub for environmental quality monitoring in industrial areas.
✅ Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Herbal Garden Visit
This learning center features over 260 herbal species. Students attended lectures on medicinal properties and sustainable green space design concepts, providing another dimension to environmental and wellness perspectives.
