Applicants must comply with the Khon Kaen University Regulations on Graduate Education B.E. 2559 (2016), Section 5, Item 21.4, or any subsequent updated regulations. (1) Type 1.1 (Research-based for Master's Degree holders): Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Energy, Agricultural, Chemical, or Food Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines. (2) Type 1.2 (Research-based for Bachelor's Degree holders): Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Energy, Agricultural, Chemical, or Food Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines. Candidates must demonstrate high research potential and have an outstanding academic record (Very Good GPA). Applicants with a lower GPA must have at least 5 years of professional work experience. (3) Type 2.1 (Coursework & Research for Master's Degree holders): Applicants must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Energy, Agricultural, Chemical, or Food Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines, with an outstanding academic record (Very Good GPA). (4) Type 2.2 (Coursework & Research for Bachelor's Degree holders): Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Energy, Agricultural, Chemical, or Food Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines. Candidates must demonstrate high research potential and have an outstanding academic record. 1) Type 1.1 (Research-based for Master's Degree holders): Applicants must hold a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree or equivalent, or be in their final semester of an M.Eng. program. Eligible fields: Mechanical, Energy, Agricultural, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Environmental, Civil, Computer Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines. 2) Type 2.1 (Coursework & Research for Master's Degree holders): Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Science and Technology, Industrial Education, or equivalent. Admission is subject to the discretion of the Program Administrative Committee. 3) Type 1.2 (Research-based for Bachelor's Degree holders): Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Agricultural, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Environmental, Civil, Computer Engineering, or other related fields. Requirements: An outstanding academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.50. Applicants with a GPA below 3.50 must have at least 5 years of professional experience in the energy sector. Candidates must demonstrate high research potential. 4) Type 2.2 (Coursework & Research for Bachelor's Degree holders): Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Agricultural, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Environmental, Civil, Computer Engineering, or other related fields. Requirements: An outstanding academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.50 or equivalent. Candidates must demonstrate high research potential. |
