🔬 Laboratory Safety Protocols

Enhanced Safety Requirements in the ENV EN Program

  • Mandatory safety training modules integrated into the curriculum
  • Assessment completion required before laboratory participation
  • Students must understand and be familiar with the safety equipment in the laboratory

Supervision & Equipment

  • Continuous supervision by qualified staff or faculties
  • Buddy system practice in laboratories or workshops (no solo work policy)
  • Safety equipment is accessible in every laboratory: Fire extinguishers, Emergency showers, Eye wash stations, and First aid kits

Personal Protective Equipment

  • Mandatory laboratory coats for all laboratory classes
  • Safety glasses and gloves available for Chemistry and Biology laboratories
  • Specialized PPE as needed for specific tasks
