KKU Engineering Journal has been published since 1973 by the Faculty of Engineering, KKU. Over the past 40 years, the journal has been committed to provide quality dissemination of academic and research works in engineering and technology in order to develop and strengthen communities.
KKU Engineering Journal has continuously improved itself to reach the national and international standard; especially there is a peer review committee, on time publication, and all abstracts, article title, author names and affiliations are in English. Therefore, KKU Engineering Journal was selected to enter in ASEAN Citation Index (ACI) database. This revealed that our journal is qualified and recognition in ASEAN.
The ASEAN Citation Index (ACI) database is an academic journal and research data source in South East Asia Region (ASEAN) which is developed by the cooperation of ASEAN country members: Cambodia, Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, Myanmar, Malaysia, Lao PDR, Vietnam, Singapore, and Indonesia. The ACI database has linked academic journals from National Citation Index (NCI) of ASEAN countries in order to search publication information and using the publication references together. The ACI database also attempts to push the academic articles and research from ASEAN education institutes for publication and to improve to achieve the international recognition.
From all 41 selected Thai journals, 3 journals are from institutes in Northeast of Thailand and 2 of them are in engineering and technology, which consisted of KKU Engineering Journal and Suranaree Journal of Science and Technology.
