Type 1.1

  1. Holding a Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Industrial Education, or related fields, with approval from the curriculum management committee. Additionally, a cumulative GPA of at least ‘very good’ throughout the program or a minimum of 1 year of work experience is required.
  2. The English language proficiency test results must meet the criteria set by the Committee on Educational Testing.
  3. If the applicant does not meet the qualifications stated in (1) and (2), it is at the discretion of the program management committee.

 

Type 1.2 

  1. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Industrial Education, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, or related fields, with approval from the curriculum management committee. Additionally, a cumulative GPA of at least ‘very good’ throughout the program or a minimum of 3 years of work experience is required. 
  2. The English language proficiency test results must meet the criteria set by the Committee on Educational Testing.  
  3. If the applicant does not meet the qualifications stated in (1) and (2), it is at the discretion of the program management committee.

 

Type 2.1 

  1. Holding a Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Industrial Education, or related fields, with approval from the curriculum management committee.
  2. The English language proficiency test results must meet the criteria set by the Committee on Educational Testing.
  3. If the applicant does not meet the qualifications stated in (1) and (2), it is at the discretion of the program management committee.

 

Type 2.2

  1. Holding a Master’s degree in Engineering or related fields, with approval from the curriculum management committee, and having graduated with honors.
  2. The English language proficiency test results must meet the criteria set by the Committee on Educational Testing.
  3. If the applicant does not meet the qualifications stated in (1) and (2), it is at the discretion of the program management committee.

Type 1.1 and 1.2

Students are required to publish works derived from their dissertation research or as part of the dissertation in the following formats:

  1. Two articles in international journals listed in the SCIE or Scopus databases, or
  2. One article in an international journal listed in the Scopus databases, along with one innovative work/creative work/patent, according to the regulations of the Khon Kaen University /Intellectual Property. This could be one patent or
  3. Create a poster summarizing the thesis research, following the format specified by the Faculty of Engineering.

 

Type 2.1 and 2.2

  1. One article in an international journal indexed in the SCIE or Scopus databases, or
  2. One research article published in international conference proceedings, and one innovative work/creative work/patent, as per the regulations of Khon Kaen University, and
  3. Prepare a thesis work poster following the format specified by the Faculty of Engineering.

(2) Elective Courses

              For students in Type 2.1, they are required to register for and pass the following courses, earning credit for a minimum of 9 credits. They must choose courses from the Agriculture Engineering group of not less than 6 credits and/or from other groups or courses that will be opened later for an additional 3 credits, subject to the approval of the program management committee, and students are also required to register for courses they have not studied at the master’s level as follows:

 

                For students under Type 2.2, they must register for and pass the following courses, counted as credits, totaling no fewer than 21 credits. Students are required to choose courses from the Agriculture Engineering group, totaling no fewer than 18 credits, and/or from other groups or additional courses to be opened later, totaling 3 credits, with the approval of the curriculum management committee as follow:

Doctoral students who have published research work or part of a research work that has been published or accepted for publication in an international journal indexed in SCIE database, starting from the first or second quartile, with at least 2 articles or more (paying only for the second article onwards) and the article must have been accepted before notifying the end of the study. The student must be the first author and will receive a prize of 20,000 Baht.
