RESEARCH WORK OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING LECTURER AND STUDENT GRANTED AN AWARD IN THE INVENTERS 2014

The research work, “Study and Design of Furnace for Fuel Production from Sugarcane Leaves” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratchaphon Santivarakorn, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and his PhD student, Wasakorn Treedech was awarded a good research prize in the Inventers 2014 held by the Office of the National Research Committee on June 23-26, 2014.

This event was organized to celebrate HM the King, “The Father of Thai Inventers”, who has great expertise and competency in inventing and creating intelligent items that really solve our problems and develop the country. The other objectives were to promote and disseminate Thai inventions and innovations to a wider circle, to build cooperation and coordination in the use of these innovations and inventions among governmental and private organizations for national socio-economic development, to support and motivate young inventers and general population to demonstrate their knowledge and abilities to the public, and lastly, to declare the prestige of capable inventers and expose their works for real commercial use.
