Administrators from Eastern International University (EIU), Vietnam, have met with officials of the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University.

On April 23, 2024, Dr. Nguyen Tan Loi, Chairman, Dr. Ngo Minh Duc, President, along with the administrative team from Eastern International University (EIU), Vietnam, met with the administrators and faculty members of the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, to discuss academic cooperation. Present at the meeting were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Assoc. Prof. Chiranut Sa-ngiamsak, Vice Dean for Research, Innovation, and International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natthapong Areemit, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Panitas Sureeyatanapas, Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies and International Relations.

During this visit to the Faculty of Engineering, discussions were held on various academic cooperation activities for the future. These include cooperation in internships for international students, organizing academic exchange activities for students, cooperation in knowledge management, cooperation in engineering education, and cooperation in postgraduate studies for teaching staff from Eastern International University (EIU), Vietnam, who wish to study further at the Faculty of Engineering.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, revealed that the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, has a long-standing and fruitful academic cooperation with several organizations in Vietnam, particularly in the field of internships for international students. This collaboration has been ongoing for many years, and there has been increasing interest from students of the Faculty of Engineering in participating in international internships each year. Therefore, it is an excellent opportunity for the us to expand cooperation with Eastern International University (EIU), Vietnam, in carrying out these activities. Additionally, it is an opportunity to enhance cooperation in student exchange, knowledge management, and the readiness to welcome teaching staff from Eastern International University (EIU) for further studies.

During this visit to the Faculty of Engineering, both parties expressed interest and committed to coordinating further discussions on the aforementioned academic cooperation activities. Both sides are impressed and hopeful that academic cooperation will continue to grow and benefit both institutions in the near future. ——————–
