Type 1.1

  1. Holding a Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Industrial Education, or related fields, with approval from the curriculum management committee. Additionally, a cumulative GPA of at least ‘very good’ throughout the program or a minimum of 1 year of work experience is required.
  2. The English language proficiency test results must meet the criteria set by the Committee on Educational Testing.
  3. If the applicant does not meet the qualifications stated in (1) and (2), it is at the discretion of the program management committee.

 

     Type 1.2 

  1. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Industrial Education, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, or related fields, with approval from the curriculum management committee. Additionally, a cumulative GPA of at least ‘very good’ throughout the program or a minimum of 3 years of work experience is required. 
  2. The English language proficiency test results must meet the criteria set by the Committee on Educational Testing.  
  3. If the applicant does not meet the qualifications stated in (1) and (2), it is at the discretion of the program management committee.

 

    Type 2.1 

  1. Holding a Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Industrial Education, or related fields, with approval from the curriculum management committee.
  2. The English language proficiency test results must meet the criteria set by the Committee on Educational Testing.
  3. If the applicant does not meet the qualifications stated in (1) and (2), it is at the discretion of the program management committee.

Type 2.2

  1. Holding a Master’s degree in Engineering or related fields, with approval from the curriculum management committee, and having graduated with honors.
  2. The English language proficiency test results must meet the criteria set by the Committee on Educational Testing.
  3. If the applicant does not meet the qualifications stated in (1) and (2), it is at the discretion of the program management committee.

Students are required to publish works derived from their dissertation research or as part of the dissertation in the following formats:

       (1) Two full articles (that are not derived from conference proceedings) in international journals listed in the SCIE or Scopus databases, or

      (2) One full article (that are not derived from conference proceedings)  in an international journal listed in the SCIE databases and one article listed in TCI database group 1 or 2, or  

      (3)  At least 1 granted patent with a registered intellectual property number, and a minimum of 2 full-length research articles (Full Article) that are not derived from conference proceedings. These articles must be either published or accepted for publication in journals indexed in the Scopus database, with at least 1 article, and in journals categorized in TCI groups 1 or 2, with at least 1 article.
